Chainlaced Crushers — Upgraded Mercury's Treads
1,250gold
Increases Move Speed and Cooldown Reduction
Chainlaced Crushers are what Mercury's Treads become: 25 Magic Resist, 45 Move Speed, 30% Tenacity, and Noxian Persistence, a magic shield for 5 seconds after a champion's magic damage. Patch 26.16 cut the Magic Resist from 30 to 25; Riot said defensive boots in mid lane were stifling the action against mages.

Why, in Riot's words
We continue to feel that defensive boot optimizations in mid lane stifle action. Since we are looking to shift mage power back from bot lane to mid lane this patch, we are also taking the time to nerf down mid lane counter itemization against mages.
