Every figure shows its source. Where a source is missing, the number is a placeholder — and it is never written as fact.

How GamGem counts every figure

In short

A number on GamGem is either counted by us from battles or matches, copied from a publisher’s own post, or labelled “Sample”. Counted numbers show the window, the sample size and a 95% margin. Revised 30 Oct 2026.

How every figure is counted

A window, always
A counted figure names the dates of the battles or matches behind it. A win rate with no window is not a measurement, so none is printed without one.
The sample size sits beside the number
Every rate is printed with the count it rests on (“58.2% over 596 battles”). A bigger n earns more evidence dots; a small one earns a “thin sample” mark.
A 95% Wilson margin on every rate
The “±” is the half-width of a 95% Wilson score interval, in percentage points. We use Wilson, not the textbook normal interval, because it stays honest near 0% and 100% and at small n.
Draws leave the denominator, where a game has them
Win rate is wins ÷ decided games. A draw is counted as a use, not as a win or a loss.
Below the minimum, no percentage
Under a stated minimum sample the count stays visible and the percentage does not. A tiny 100% deck can never be a default pick. The minimums for each game are listed in its section below.
“Sample” means not measured
A chip reading “Sample” marks a placeholder that is shaped like data but was not counted. It is never a result, and it is never shown as one. A figure that was counted says so, with its window.
Two dates, two meanings
“Checked” is the day we last compared a figure with its source. “Revised” is the day the wording of a page last changed. We only move either when something actually changed; a sitemap date is never a build timestamp.

Where the data comes from

  • Supercell’s official APIs, read offline

Clash Royale, Brawl Stars and Clash of Clans reference data and battle logs. Read by hand, with keys that never reach the site, and reduced to counts.

  • Riot Games API, read offline

Ranked League of Legends matches, counted by us offline into the win and pick rates the pages print.

  • Official posts and release notes

Event dates, season rules and balance changes are copied from the publisher’s own posts, with the post linked and dated.

  • Supercell Fan Content Policy and Fan Kit

Supercell art is the Fan Kit, shown unchanged and credited. GamGem carries no ads or sales on those pages, and is not affiliated with Supercell.

  • Clash Royale wiki (CC BY-SA 3.0)

Card behaviour and per-level tables, where the publisher does not state them. Credited with the licence and a note of any change.

  • Riot Data Dragon

League of Legends names, items and art at a pinned version. Data Dragon has no win rates, so those are our own count.

What we do not do

We do not store player data
Battle logs are read once, offline, and reduced to counts of cards, decks and results. No player name, tag or clan is kept in the data or shown on the site.
We do not invent a figure
If a number cannot be counted or sourced it is left out, or shown as a labelled Sample. We do not fill a gap so a table looks complete.
AI does not state facts
Where an AI feature appears it may re-word rows that already exist. It never adds a number, a date or a claim that is not in the counted or sourced data.
We do not call a count official
Our counts come from a sample of players. They are not publisher statistics and are never labelled as such.
The site never calls a game API
Official APIs are read by hand, offline, with keys that never reach the site. What you see was written to a file and checked, not fetched while you load the page.

Clash Royale

Our Clash Royale figures are counted from Ranked 1v1 battles of top Path of Legends players (read from the official Clash Royale API by hand, offline). They describe that sample, not every player.

How to read a number. Log Bait won 50.7% ± 0.9 over 12,283 uses: with 95% confidence the true rate for this sample lies between 49.8% and 51.6%.

Minimum samples
A deck needs 30 counted uses and a card 40 before a win rate is printed. An archetype or deck gets its own page from 300 uses; a card page is indexed only with at least 3 blocks of real content beyond its name.
Evidence dots
Decks step up at 500 (2 dots) · 2,000 (3 dots) · 10,000 (4 dots) · 50,000 (5 dots). Cards step up at Very Low (<3k) · Low (3k+) · Medium (10k+) · High (20k+) · Very High (30k+) battles.
Two-sided counting
Each battle counts once for each of its two decks, so one battle gives two uses. A rate is over decks-sides, and its margin uses that count.
Default pick
The deck with the highest lower edge of its 95% range among legal decks above the minimum. A small sample can never win by luck.

Dates, rules and balance changes are copied from Supercell’s own posts and never guessed. Card behaviour and level tables come from the Clash Royale wiki (CC BY-SA 3.0), credited where used. Card art is the Supercell Fan Kit, shown unchanged.

League of Legends

Riot publishes no win or pick rate in Data Dragon, so ours are counted from matches and labelled with the patch, rank and region they cover. A printed rate is the raw count; a ranking uses a confidence-adjusted figure, so a 40-game 60% cannot top a 900-game 54%, and the page says so where it does.

Figures will update daily once it is approved. Counted 26–27 Sept 2026; patches 26.18 (35,477) · 26.19 (18,580) · 26.17 (11,048) · 26.16 (293) · 26.15 (8); by server EUW 22,382 · KR 21,922 · NA 21,065 · EUNE 20 · TR 17. 642 games without a result — remakes ended by vote in their first minutes, and games recorded with no winner — were not counted.

Brawl Stars

Win rate and share of picks are counted from the battle logs of top-ranked players, read from the official API by hand and offline, and reduced to counts of brawlers, maps and modes. A rate is shown only once its sample is measured; until then the figure carries a “Sample” chip. No player name or tag is stored.

Clash of Clans

Troop, hero and building data comes from the official Clash of Clans API, read by hand and offline for the game’s own data only: no player or clan is ever fetched or kept. Army and base pages that state a tier name who ranked it and when, and a figure that was not counted is labelled “Sample”. Art is the Supercell Fan Kit, shown unchanged and credited.
