Riven, the Exile, recasts Broken Wings three times, the third strike knocking enemies back, and Blade of the Exile unlocks Wind Slash. Conqueror was on almost all counted Master+ Rivens, with Axiom Arc then Endless Hunger the build bought most. Fiora, Jax, Malphite and Kennen beat her most often. She edged out Ambessa, K'Sante and Jayce. Against Garen and Renekton she was close to even.

Endless Hunger's addition to the game has given Riven an extremely potent new tool that fits her play pattern almost perfectly. While we feel we've gotten it into a fairly good spot among most users, Riven is notably overperforming. Targeting her R’s AD scaling (heavy synergy with Endless Hunger haste, mid quest scaling) will impact all her spells and how unstoppable her snowballing can feel, while still leaving a lot of room for her high moments.

Riven's been crushing it ever since she discovered Axiom Arc. We like that she's swift and lethal in the early game but ultimately she's bursting down her competition too quickly once mid game arrives. Additionally, with all the extra gold and experience in the game right now, players have cited that late game fights resolve too quickly. So, all that considered, we're here to take out some of her late game burst power.
PRunic Blade
Riven's native mobility, strong dueling, and interesting risk profile of having to burn damage in order to close the gap could make for a really compelling jungle champion. She's also monstrously hard to play, but even accounting for that, she appears to be a pretty abysmal jungler at her current tuning. We're substantially buffing her first clear to see if players will find a fun, dynamic, high-skill fighter compelling in this new role.
PRunic Blade
Riven is one of the best light fighters, particularly in skilled play. While it's important to us that deeply invested players are rewarded for their mastery, she's currently bursting a little too hard in the right hands, so we're giving her a little tap down. And before you ask, this isn't because of the Teemo clip, although we aren't surprised to see how many of you loved watching Teemo get popped.

Riven, the Exile, is a Fighter and Assassin champion in League of Legends. Riot rates the kit 8/10 for difficulty, 8/10 for attack, 5/10 for defense and 1/10 for magic. Riven spends no resource on abilities and has 18 skins with their own art.
Once a swordmaster in the warhosts of Noxus, Riven is an expatriate in a land she previously tried to conquer. She rose through the ranks on the strength of her conviction and brutal efficiency, and was rewarded with a legendary runic blade and a warband of her own. However, on the Ionian front, Riven's faith in her homeland was tested and ultimately broken. Having severed all ties to the empire, she now seeks to find her place in a shattered world, even as rumors abound that Noxus itself has been reforged...
