Clash Royale October 2026 balance changes: every card on 6 and 19 October, and what 124,423 battles can and cannot say

Supercell changed 18 card entries on 6 October and 11 on 19 October. Every stat, old and new, and why a 124,423-battle sample cannot yet measure what they did.

Supercell’s October balance post, published on 6 October, holds two updates: 18 card entries changed on 6 October and 11 on 19 October. The post says why there are two. The seasonal balance changes that would normally arrive with the November season were pulled forward to mid-October because the Clash Royale League World Finals fall in early November, which gives players time to adapt before them.

What changed in Clash Royale on 6 October 2026?

Seven nerfs, eight buffs, one rework and two fixes. Hero Ice Wizard took the steepest cut to a damage figure, his Freeze Damage dropping from 89 to 46. Lava Hound gained damage (53 to 71) and slowed down (hit speed 1.3s to 1.5s) in the same line, and Minion Giant hit slower, 1.5s to 1.7s. Everything below is Supercell’s own number.

Every 6 October change, as the post prints it, under the post’s own headings. A card with two stat changes has two rows.

Supercell files the Elixir Collector under nerfs even though its lifetime goes up: the production interval also gets longer, 13s to 15s, so it makes less Elixir per second while it stands. The Skeletons’ tighter spread is the one change in the post with no figure attached.

What changed on 19 October 2026?

Four nerfs, four buffs and three reworks. Minion Giant is the card to watch across both dates: it slowed down on 6 October and lost damage (168 to 153) on the 19th. Skeleton Barrel was reworked so that its base and Evolved forms meet: the base card’s death damage rises from 145 to 163 while the Evolution’s falls from 192 to 163.

Do the October changes line up with the King of Cards event?

Our count of the two published lists says they do, and that is all it says. Seven of the eight cards buffed on 6 October appear on a King of Cards boosted list in Supercell’s season post: Goblin Barrel in week 2, Three Musketeers, Ram Rider and Wall Breakers in week 3, Lava Hound in week 4, and X-Bow and Goblin Drill in week 5. Only Monk is not on a list. Minion Giant, nerfed on both dates, is on the week 2 list, and the reworked Skeleton Barrel on the week 4 one. Supercell does not link the two announcements, so we do not either; but if you plan a deck around the event, the cards it favours and the cards just rebalanced are largely the same ones. The full schedule is in our King vs King article and the events calendar.

What did the October balance changes do to win rates?

We cannot tell you yet, and we would rather say so than invent a figure. Our own count of top Path of Legends battles, last checked on 29 October, holds 124,423 ranked battles from 12,001 players, dated 1 September to 29 October. Only 90 of them are from before 6 October and 1,262 from 6 to 18 October; 123,071, or 99 in every 100, are from 19 October or later. A win rate “before” the changes built on 90 battles has a margin too wide to compare against anything.

What the sample can do is describe the game after both updates. Each card page shows its use and win rate in that sample with the number of battles and the margin beside it, and the patches page lists the updates alongside the sample’s limits. The figures are ours — counted by GamGem from the Clash Royale API battle log, top-ladder players only — and are not official Supercell statistics. When a week with a real baseline exists, this piece is where the comparison will go, and its modified date will change when it does.

What bug fixes came with the November season?

The 27 October season post lists six bug fixes, all about Evolutions or Heroes interacting with other cards. Supercell gives them as one-line statements and no dates beyond the post’s own:

The six fixes, as worded in the 27 October post (paraphrased closely).
CardWhat was fixed
Mega KnightNo longer immune to Evolved Hunter’s net while jumping
Evolved Mega KnightNo longer immune to Tornado while attacking
BanditNo longer knocked back when dashing into Evolved Wizard’s shield
Evolved Wall BreakersNow take death damage when pulled in by Fisherman
Evolved Battle RamCharge now interrupted by Zap and similar effects when it pushes itself back before its next charge
Hero Ice WizardRefunds Elixir if defeated before his projectile hits the target

The cards involved have their own pages: Mega Knight, Hunter, Tornado, Bandit, Wizard, Wall Breakers, Fisherman, Battle Ram, Zap and Ice Wizard. Bug fixes carry no stat changes, so none of them is in the tables above.

Will there be more balance changes before the new season?

Supercell says in the October post that it will not introduce balance changes at the start of the November season but may make further adjustments after the Clash Royale League World Finals, which run 6 to 8 November. The season post lists no balance section, which fits. We do not predict a date; the patches page records the next official post when there is one.

What this establishes

  • The October balance post holds two updates: 18 card entries changed on 6 October and 11 on 19 October, with every stat printed.
  • The November balance wave was pulled forward to mid-October because the World Finals fall in early November, according to the post.
  • Seven of the eight cards buffed on 6 October are on a King of Cards boosted list.
  • The 27 October season post lists six bug fixes and no balance changes.

What stays open

  • What the changes did to win rates: our sample holds 90 battles from before 6 October, too few for a baseline.
  • Whether Supercell adjusts balance after the World Finals, as its October post says it may.
  • Whether Supercell chose the buffed cards because of King of Cards; it does not say.
