Rockstar has named six Grand Theft Auto VI radio stations: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics. The Newswire post on 8 October calls them “six of the stations featured” — so this is a first look, not the full dial — and confirms a series first alongside them: on-demand podcasts, playable in vehicles and on foot.

The announcement arrived in three layers, and almost every write-up since has flattened them into one. Rockstar’s own pages name the stations and credit the hosts by first name or on-air persona. The music press named the real people behind those personas the same day, with Lana Del Rey quoted on the record. And the song titles now being shared are not on Rockstar’s page at all — they were identified by outlets listening to the previews. All three are useful. Only one of them is Rockstar talking.

What are the GTA 6 radio stations?

Six, so far. Each has a preview on the official Music page, where the station list credits every one as “Hosted by” a pair of names. The descriptions below are Rockstar’s; the right-hand column is what music outlets reported about who those names belong to.

Who hosts the GTA 6 radio stations?

Read Rockstar’s text closely and it never prints a surname. Cocoteo FM is “hosted by El Martillo and La Gata”; AfroBank FM’s “dynamic duo” is “Burna and Palmsy”; Flash FM comes “with Robyn and Alex”. That keeps the hosts in character, and it is why the station list on the Music page reads like a radio schedule rather than a celebrity line-up.

The celebrity line-up came from the music press on the same day. Rolling Stone’s Jon Blistein reported Bad Bunny as El Martillo and RaiNao as La Gata, Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen behind Back Country Radio, Del Rey’s husband Jeremy Dufrene as Mud Dog Mike, Burna Boy and Palms Trax on AfroBank FM, Robyn and Alex Consani on Flash FM, Trick Daddy and Trina on Dirty South Classics, and Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya on The Chamber. The Fader printed the same names, attributing the announcement to Rockstar, and Kotaku credited part of the reporting to Rolling Stone and Pitchfork.

“On so many different levels this is super special and a privilege. Can’t wait to get into the game and start playing.”

What songs are on the GTA 6 radio?

Rockstar has not published a track list for any station. The previews we played on the Music page each run as one continuous clip of about two minutes — DJ chatter and fragments of songs — with no titles on screen. Every song name you have seen attached to a GTA 6 station was identified by somebody listening.

Kotaku named three: MGMT’s “Electric Feel”, Slayer’s “Raining Blood” and Loretta Lynn’s “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’”. KeenGamer went further and listed three songs per station from the previews, eighteen in all. They are reproduced below with that attribution, because a reader deserves to know the difference between “Rockstar listed this” and “an outlet recognised this”.

Cocoteo FMBad Bunny — “EoO” · Axel Rulay ft. Farruko and El Alfa — “Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)” · Romeo Santos and El Chaval de la Bachata — “Canalla”

AfroBank FMAsake — “Joha” · Pat Thomas ft. Ebo Taylor — “Gye Wani” · DJ Lag and Robot Boii ft. Kamo Mphela — “Shay’sana”
The Chamber 106.6Black Sabbath — “I” · Pantera — “I’m Broken” · Slayer — “Raining Blood”

Dirty South ClassicsDavid Banner ft. Lil’ Flip — “Like A Pimp” · JT Money ft. Solé — “Who Dat” · DJ Khaled ft. Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Pitbull — “Born N Raised”

The album singles are the one list Rockstar has printed with titles. The Music page currently carries eight: Yung Lean’s “That’s It” featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott’s “RHYNO”, “Sexy Magic” by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso with Pink Pantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need”, Fuerza Regida’s “Suzuki”, Rauw Alejandro’s “Macacoa 2000”, Cardi B’s “Don’t Chart” and Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City”. Wallen appears on both lists — as an album artist and, per the reports, as a Back Country host.

Can you listen to the GTA 6 radio now?

Partly. The six station previews play on the Music page today, in a player that also lists each station’s hosts. The album singles stream in full on the same page and on the major music services. The stations themselves — full playlists, ads, talk segments and the podcasts — arrive with the game on 19 November, and not before.

The music has come out in a deliberate order. The album was announced first, on 17 September, as 34 original tracks made with Atlantic Records, with six singles released that day and vinyl and CD editions to pre-order. That post ended by promising more on “the dynamic score, the next evolution of in-game radio, and more” — and the radio is the part of that promise that has now been kept.

Is Flash FM back from Vice City?

Yes — by name and by Rockstar’s own description. The Newswire calls Flash FM “the Vice City institution that delivers the best in pop music”, hosted by Robyn and Alex, “guaranteed to make you dance no matter where you find yourself in the Goodtime State.” It is the only one of the six that Rockstar ties to an earlier game, and the only returning name on the dial so far.

What are the GTA 6 podcasts?

They are new to the series, and Rockstar has said only three things about them. They are on-demand. They are made “for Jason and Lucia to experience beyond Leonida’s terrestrial radio”. And both radio and podcasts can be heard in vehicles and on foot, through “newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones.”

That last detail is the gameplay change, and VGC’s report led with it: the radio and podcasts now go with you on foot. What Rockstar has not said is how many podcasts there are, what they are called, who hosts them, or whether new episodes arrive after launch. “On-demand” implies you choose an episode rather than tune in; beyond that, it is all still to come.

How many radio stations will GTA 6 have?

Rockstar has not given a number. What it has given is a range and a superlative: stations “dedicated to everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio”, and “the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet.” Neither classic rock nor talk radio is among the six named, so at least two more formats exist that have not been introduced.

The Newswire closes by promising “more info to come, including details about Grand Theft Auto VI’s dynamic score and more singles”. With five weeks to launch, that reads like a schedule rather than a figure of speech. The full station count, the talk stations and the score are the three music announcements still owed — and the moment the station count is published, every list of “all GTA 6 radio stations” written before it, including the six-row table above, becomes a partial list.

What this establishes

  • Rockstar named six GTA 6 radio stations on 8 October 2026: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics.
  • Flash FM returns, described by Rockstar as “the Vice City institution”.
  • GTA 6 adds on-demand podcasts, and radio and podcasts can be heard on foot through in-game headphones and earbuds.
  • Rockstar credits hosts by first name or persona; the full names (Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya and others) come from same-day music press, with Del Rey quoted.

What stays open

  • How many radio stations GTA 6 has in total. Rockstar says it spans “Classic Rock to Talk Radio” and has named six.
  • The full track list of any station. Rockstar has published none; every song title in circulation was identified from the previews by outlets.
  • How many podcasts there are, what they are called and who hosts them.
  • Which tracks from GTA VI: The Album play on the radio, if any.
