Every figure shows its source. Where a source is missing, the number is a placeholder — and it is never written as fact.

GTA 6 Weapons

Every weapon this game is said to have — three named by Rockstar, fourteen seen in its trailers and screenshots, the rest expected from the series or taken from leaks. Each row says which, so a leak never reads as a fact.

How many weapons are in GTA 6?

Almost none of this list is established, and that is the honest state of it before launch. Rockstar has named a handful; outside outlets have read more off published frames; a large block of names exists only in material that was never published, and it is marked as such rather than left out. The remainder of any arsenal — ours and everyone else’s — is the previous game’s, carried across on the assumption that it returns.

What puts a row on this list

Same rule as every list here: a row appears when it can be pointed at, and it carries the grade of whatever can be pointed at. That is why this list is longer than the ones built only from trailers and shorter than the one built from everything — the difference between them is not length, it is which rung each name sits on, and the column says so on every row.

Why four published lists give four different totals

What would move a row

  • A weapon is named in published material, or shown in a trailer or screenshot.
  • The game ships and the in-game arsenal can be read directly.
  • A staple is shown to be absent, and the row leaves this list.

What the list rests on

  • 3Named by the publisher

The name appears in Rockstar’s own material — a trailer caption, its site, or store copy.

  • 0Shown, not named

Visible in an official trailer, screenshot or key art. The thing is there; what it is called is a reading.

  • 14Identified by the community

Named by outside projects working from published frames. No Rockstar statement supports it.

  • 19Only in leaked material

Listed by an outside database whose inclusion rule counts footage that was never published. It is recorded here, and it is never evidence on its own.

  • 31Expected, not shown

A franchise regular that has appeared in previous games. Nothing published shows it in this one.
