Duke Carbine in GTA 6

The clearest maker's mark anybody has found in Rockstar's published material: the Duke Arms Company insignia on the receiver, read by PC Gamer. Two variants appear — more likely one rifle with different attachments than two.

Identified

The clearest manufacturer mark anybody has found in the published material: PC Gamer reads the Duke Arms Company insignia off the receiver, which makes this the one weapon here whose maker is established rather than assumed — and ties Leonida to the same in-universe armourer that supplied Red Dead Redemption. Two variants appear, which is more likely one weapon with different attachments than two guns.

Identified in Rockstar’s published material by outside readers; Rockstar has not described it. Rockstar has published no weapon statistics for GTA 6, so this page prints none.

What the Duke carbine's markings establish

Each answer carries how settled it is and who settled it. Where nobody has said, the card says that instead of guessing — and says what stays open even after the answer.

Where has the Duke Carbine been seen?

Shown, not stated

In a video on the promotional website.

Raul Bautista holds off Vice City police officers with it (a video on the promotional website). None of it shows how the gun handles — Rockstar has published no weapon statistics for GTA 6.

Still open — Damage, rate of fire, magazine size and how it is obtained in play — no frame or listing shows them.

What real gun is the Duke Carbine based on?

Said on record

The M4 carbine, as the people who studied Rockstar’s images read it.

PC Gamer reads the Duke Arms Company insignia on it and calls it M4-inspired, seen in two versions that are probably one gun with different attachments. GTA Wiki’s editors match it to an M4A1 Block II with a Magpul stock and PMAG magazine.

Still open — Rockstar never names a real firearm, so no reading here will ever be confirmed by the publisher.

How we checked this page

The evidence here is unusually concrete: a manufacturer insignia on the receiver, read by PC Gamer. That is why this is the one rifle whose maker the page states instead of assuming. The two variants are treated as one weapon with different attachments, as the source suggests, and that reading stays provisional until release.

  • The actual damage model, and whether it is per-shot or per-second.
  • Recoil behaviour, which no published material describes.
  • Carry limit — how many weapons can be held at once.
  • Ammunition economy, and whether ammo is bought or found.
  • Whether any mission restricts or replaces the loadout.
