Grand Theft Auto VI missions — what is established so far

Where this stands

Rockstar has published no mission list — no count, no names, no order. One site says two are confirmed; another prints eighty across three acts.

This page will hold a mission index: order, protagonist, prerequisites, rewards and missables. It does not hold one yet. What it holds is the gap between two published answers to the same question, and the reason the gap exists — because that reason is the single most useful thing a reader can take into launch week.

No mission name appears on this page unless Rockstar published it. Names drawn from leaked material are named as such and not reproduced.

Has Rockstar published a mission list?

Nobody has said

No count, no names, no order, no act structure.

Two trailers, the Extended Look, the pre-order copy and the official game hub have between them named no mission, given no total and described no chapter structure. Mission names exist inside an unreleased game and nowhere else, which means every published list is either an invention or a copy of one.

Still open — A trophy and achievement list normally appears days before launch and reveals the story's shape before anyone has played it.

The set piece at the centre of Trailer 2 — Lucia and Jason robbing a Vice Beach convenience store — is footage of a sequence, not a named mission. That distinction matters more than it sounds: a scene in a trailer may be one mission, part of one, or assembled from several. Nothing published says which.

Still open — Whether the sequence is a story mission, a tutorial, or a cinematic assembled for the trailer.

Why does one site say two missions and another list eighty?

Sources disagree

Because one counts what Rockstar showed and the other counts what leaked.

GTA Intel titles its page "All 2 Confirmed GTA 6 Missions". GTAVISpot publishes "Estimated 70–85 main story missions structured across three acts" with eight named entries, and attributes them to "trailers and development archives" — the second of those is the leaked material. Neither page is lying. They are standing on different ground, and the ground is never in the headline.

Still open — The real count is unknowable until the game ships. Until then the only meaningful question is what a given list was built from.
