Every figure shows its source. Where a source is missing, the number is a placeholder — and it is never written as fact.

How many vehicles are in GTA 6?

Nobody knows, and every published total is a count of something its author chose to count. Rockstar has published no vehicle list and no vehicle total. What this directory can say is where each of its own rows came from, which is what the ladder below does — and it now carries most of what the largest official-material index names, rather than a short list of the famous ones.

What puts a row on this list

A row appears here when it can be pointed at: named by the publisher, shown in its material, or identified from published frames by an outside project. Series staples appear too, labelled as expectation rather than quietly folded into the total. 🚗 Real-world car brands do not appear at all — a licensed marque has never shipped in this series, so an index carrying one is carrying a placeholder.

Why six databases publish six different totals

What would move a row

  • The publisher names a vehicle in its own material — the row moves to the top rung that day.
  • A vehicle appears in a new trailer or screenshot, moving it from expected to shown.
  • The game ships and the in-game list can be read, which settles every row at once.
  • A staple turns out to be absent — the row leaves rather than sitting at the bottom forever.

What the list rests on

  • 1Named by the publisher

The name appears in Rockstar’s own material — a trailer caption, its site, or store copy.

  • 13Shown, not named

Visible in an official trailer, screenshot or key art. The thing is there; what it is called is a reading.

  • 150Identified by the community

Named by outside projects working from published frames. No Rockstar statement supports it.

  • 0Only in leaked material

Listed by an outside database whose inclusion rule counts footage that was never published. It is recorded here, and it is never evidence on its own.

  • 17Expected, not shown

A franchise regular that has appeared in previous games. Nothing published shows it in this one.
