Morgan Revolver in GTA 6

One of three weapons Rockstar names in the Ultimate Edition, and listed there twice — a modified Morgan for Jason and another for Lucia. PC Gamer reads the design as a Smith & Wesson Model 629.

Named by Rockstar in the Ultimate Edition's listed contents, where it appears twice — a modified Morgan for Jason and another for Lucia. PC Gamer puts the design on the Smith & Wesson 629 and, reading the engravings off the published art, reports that the serial numbers on the pair are references to the release dates of Vice City and Vice City Stories. Not one of its statistics has been published.

Named in the publisher’s own store listing. Rockstar has published no weapon statistics for GTA 6, so this page prints none.

Listed as a his-and-hers pair of Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers with Vice City styling said to come from the Vercetti Estate (the Ultimate Edition’s store listing). Both personalised revolvers shown for the Ultimate Edition, on a table beside ammunition, a knife and cash (an official screenshot). None of it shows how the gun handles — Rockstar has published no weapon statistics for GTA 6.

Still open — Damage, rate of fire, magazine size and how it is obtained in play — no frame or listing shows them.

What real gun is the Morgan Revolver based on?

The Smith & Wesson Model 629, as the people who studied Rockstar’s images read it.

PC Gamer reads the design as a Smith & Wesson 629. GTA Wiki’s editors see the barrel of Lucia’s on the Model 629 Classic and the barrel and grip of Jason’s on the Model 29. They also read the Vercetti Estate styling as a nod to the .357 revolver and its scoped Equalizer variant from the Vice City games.

Still open — Rockstar never names a real firearm, so no reading here will ever be confirmed by the publisher.

Is the Morgan Revolver in the Ultimate Edition?

The listing names it among the edition’s exclusive items. Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026; the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 and the standard edition $79.99.

What do the numbers engraved on the Morgan Revolvers mean?

Lucia’s carries 291002 and Jason’s 311006 — read as dates, 29/10/02 and 31/10/06, the release days of Vice City and Vice City Stories.

PC Gamer reported that the serial numbers on the pair point to the two Vice City releases; GTA Wiki’s editors give the numbers themselves. Vice City came out on 29 October 2002 and Vice City Stories on 31 October 2006, which is how the digits read as day, month and year.

How we checked this page

Rockstar's Ultimate Edition listing is the only first-hand source here, and it names the Morgan twice. The Smith & Wesson 629 reading, and the claim that the serial numbers point at Vice City's release dates, are PC Gamer's, taken off published art. We have not read the engravings ourselves, so the page credits them instead of repeating them as fact.
