Every figure shows its source. Where a source is missing, the number is a placeholder — and it is never written as fact.

Grand Theft Auto VI collectibles — what is established so far

Where this stands

Rockstar has published no collectible list for GTA 6. Every count in circulation is GTA 5's, used as a placeholder.

This page will hold a collectible tracker — categories, totals, map pins and a route. It does not hold one yet, because the game has not shipped and nothing has been published to build it from. What it holds instead is the honest version of the question: what is established, what other sites print, and what each of those numbers is actually standing on.

No count on this page is invented, and none is borrowed from another game and presented as this one's. When the real categories exist, they appear here — at this URL, under this heading.

Has Rockstar published a collectible list?

Nobody has said

No. Not a list, not a category, not a count.

Nothing in Rockstar's own material names a collectible type for this game. The trailers and the Extended Look show a world; they do not enumerate what can be picked up in it. Every category and every total in circulation was assembled by somebody else.

Still open — Whether the game ships with collectibles in the GTA sense at all. Series history says yes; this game has not said.

The same question, in the question bank

Where do the collectible counts on other sites come from?

Sources disagree

From GTA 5. One site says so itself, in plain text, on the page.

GTA Codex lists roughly 100 hidden packages, 50 letter scraps, 50 stunt jumps, 50 under-the-bridge challenges and 15 knife flights. Run the familiar ones against GTA 5 and they match to the unit. The page discloses it: "Counts (≈) are the GTA V baseline we're assuming for GTA VI — real Leonida locations get added as they're found." That is exactly the right disclosure, and it is the disclosure that does not survive a search snippet, a thumbnail or a screenshot into a chat server.

Still open — Whether the categories carry over at all. A couple on that list — cane toads, collectible cards — are Leonida-flavoured inventions rather than GTA 5 holdovers.

How we grade a claim

What will 100% completion require?

Nobody has said

Unknown. The trophy list that normally settles it does not exist publicly yet.

Completion requirements in a Grand Theft Auto game are normally derived from the trophy and achievement list plus the in-game progress counter. Neither is public for this title. Checklists published today are GTA 5's categories with the name changed — which is a reasonable guess and a terrible answer.

Still open — Whether Rockstar keeps the strict in-game completion counter GTA 5 used, or replaces it.
