52 changes from World of Warcraft: Forever Class Deep Dives — Paladin, opened 2026-10-22. Updated 2026-10-22.
What Blizzard says this class is
Strengths. Highly effective tanks, competitive damage dealers and the strongest single-target healers in the game; very strong against Undead and Demons. Holy sustains one target with Flash of Light; new talents add group healing.
Limits. Limited ranged options, no interrupt and no way to slow enemy movement.
Baseline abilities
Holy Strike
BaselineLevel 6New: instant Holy damage worth 50% of weapon damage plus a bonus that grows with rank.
Seal of Fury
BaselineLevel 10New tanking seal: constant bonus Holy damage per swing (favours a fast weapon), an absorb shield worth 50% of that damage, and a Judgement that deals extra Holy damage and taunts from 10 yards (Growl and Taunt reach 5).
Consecration
BaselineLevel 20Now learned by all Paladins; hits the first 4 enemies to enter for moderate damage and the rest for very little, keeping parity with Warrior Thunder Clap.
Judgement

ChangedCooldown 20 minutes (was 1 hour).
Righteous Fury
ChangedSmaller threat bonus.
Resistance Auras
ChangedFire, Frost and Shadow Resistance Aura reach all raid members within 30 yards.
