Blizzard’s announcement gives November 4 at 15:00 Pacific. US daylight saving ends on 1 November 2026, so Pacific Time is PST (UTC−8) on the 4th and the launch is 23:00 UTC. The conversion to other zones is ours.
Blizzard closes the beta servers on Friday 23 October 2026 at 10:00 PDT (17:00 UTC).
Blizzard’s beta post calls 21 October “the last full day of testing”; the forum post says the servers close forever on 23 October. Guide sites give 21, 22 or 23 October; where sources disagree we follow Blizzard’s own forum post.
21 October 2026: the beta went offline for a few hours, open to any WoW account.
Blizzard moved it from 19 October. It began at 2:00 p.m. PDT in North America and 19:00 CEST in Europe, and needed no subscription, Game Time, invitation or beta access. Test characters, names and guilds were wiped before Name Reservation opened. Blizzard said the window may end earlier or run later than planned.
27 October to 3 November 2026, for buyers of a pack — up to three characters.
Blizzard’s pre-purchase post gives the window as 27 October to 3 November and the limit as three characters. Names are first come, first served and cannot be guaranteed. Blizzard also plans to offer the new Roleplay-PvP ruleset from 27 October, though its rules are not yet published.
