How does camping work in WoW Forever?

  • 1 A Basic Campfire, the Cooking Fire grown up, holds up to three special crafted objects. Nearby players add them, one object each. source

  • 2 Sit or craft at the campsite for at least 1 minute and you gain the benefits of the other camp features. source

  • 3 Every camp feature needs a campfire nearby, and all of them share a cooldown of 1 hour. source

  • 4 The buffs are variants of class buffs and are exclusive with them: you get the camp version or the class version, not both. source

  • 5 You must sit by the fire briefly and become rested to receive the buffs. On a PvP Ruleset, enemy players who find your camp are a risk. source

How do you get camp items in WoW Forever?

  • 1 Once a profession reaches skill 20 you can get its first camp item from starter zone quests or buy it from a profession trainer. source

  • 2 Items that need skill 140 or higher come from drops in dungeons and raids. source

  • 3 Cooks eventually learn upgraded Campfires that take five or even 10 objects; other professions unlock conveniences such as Alchemy Laboratories and Tanning Racks. source
