1. Patch 12.062026-03-31

   • Saturate changed from INSTANT to EQUIP.
   Why, in Riot's words

   By changing Waylay’s Saturate from an INSTANT cast ability to an EQUIP, she can no longer Hinder enemies instantly while airborne or reactively on contact without greater risk to herself. This incentivizes Waylay to coordinate with her team to mitigate risk for herself, rather than using it as a setup piece for a teammate to capitalize on.

   Convergent Paths

   • Ultimate no longer spawns an afterimage of Waylay, and she is no longer pushed back when casting

   Most Duelist gameplay is in a healthy state, so we're making minor tunings. We want stuns and slows to feel rewarding when they lead to kills, so we're making adjustments that will reward precise timing and well-coordinated ability combos.

   Waylay has shown a steep mastery curve since her release, where her win rate significantly improves the more games you play. That said, she is still slightly weak at all skill levels. These buffs aim to sharpen her ability to take fights right after exiting Lightspeed and make her Refract loop easier to play around, as well as improve Waylay’s flow and gameplay feel. Saturate does not land at a comparable rate to other abilities, so we’re increasing its power to justify its 300 credit cost.
