GTA 6 Collector’s Edition — and do you need to pre-order?

Each answer carries how settled it is and who settled it. Where nobody has said, the card says that instead of guessing — and says what stays open even after the answer.

Is there a GTA 6 Collector’s Edition?

Stated

Not of the game. Rockstar sells a Collector’s box — The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection, $399.99 / £349.99 — and the game is sold separately.

Rockstar’s own store lists “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection” at £349.99 on pre-order, with the note “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately”. It holds eleven items — a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a crossbody bag, a New Era cap, a mirror, a shot glass, a swizzle spoon, a keychain, nine enamel pins, nine stickers and a double-sided poster with a map of Leonida. VICE reported the US price as $399.99 on 24 September, shipping from 19 November 2026, in limited quantities. The game itself comes in two editions only: Standard and Ultimate.

Still open — Whether the box sells out before launch, and whether a bundle with the game ever appears.

Do you have to pre-order GTA 6 to get the bonus?

Stated

No. Any purchase before 20 November 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack — either edition, physical or digital.

Rockstar’s support page ties the Vintage Vice City Pack to the purchase date, not to pre-ordering: buy before the cutoff, on launch day included, and it is added to the game. The month of the subscription service is different — that comes with digital pre-orders only, not with a physical copy.
