  • After Caustic Claws, walk the boss to the next clean slice of the room.

Where do I stand?

  1. Before the pull, mark every possible wind tunnel position around the room’s edge.
  2. Boss at the platform edge; raid behind him in two soak groups.
  3. Surge targets drop cysts at the markers opposite the tunnels that will fire.
  4. Intermission: the whole raid stacks tightly in the middle of the room.
  5. After the third wind, gather at the spare cyst and pop it to clear the floor.

What does each role do?

Tanks
  • Hold Sszorak near the platform edge with the raid behind him in its two groups.
  • Taunt between the two Ravage casts; taunts work in the middle of Apex Predator.
  • Swap on Corroding Venom stacks as normal.
  • After Caustic Claws, walk the boss to the next clean slice of the room.
Healers
  • Ula’tek’s Presence ticks on everyone all fight; damage intake is high.
  • Venomous Surge bursts hit the whole raid, less the farther you are.
  • Mutilate damage and its DoT are shared across the soaking group.
Damage dealers
  • Hero on pull, or try it on the intermission damage amp.
  • Burn hard during Dig In while the cyst goo holds you in place.
  • Soak Mutilate with your group (a melee/ranged split works) and avoid Ravage and Tempest.
  • Agree on knockback immunities for Crosswinds so your partner isn’t left floating.

On Mythic

  • Serpent’s Fury: a red circle on one player while the boss gains energy — 14 players stack in it to reset him.
  • Full energy wipes the group, so every Apex Predator set closes with a Fury pop — and its timing is tight.
  • Pop the Fury before the intermission even two seconds early and the first one after it cannot be survived.
  • Each pop leaves the stackers with Virulence, which fires in four directions if anyone overlaps — split up straight away.
  • Raging Crosswinds now has four directions; arrows still pair at right angles. Cancel only if both partners can.

If it goes wrong?

Ravage
One tank taking the whole combo alone dies.
Mutilate
Fewer than 5 players hit means lethal damage.
Viscous Cyst
One misplaced cyst can be recovered; two misplaced end the pull.
Raging Crosswinds
Hitting nobody leaves you drifting in your arrow’s direction, maybe off the platform.
Howling Maelstrom
A player outside the stack is pushed off at an angle and can drag others into trouble.
