What repeats?

  1. 1. Phase 1 · PullVexhul and Ithraz run a fixed rotation twice per cycle; the raid budgets Eternal Venom.
  2. 2. Intermission (Submerge) · 100 energy, after the second Ravenous FeastBoth dive and swap sides; Vile Flood sweeps while Sanguine Storm rains gore.

The loop: Caustic Deluge, Stone Breaker, Venomous Emergence, Coiling Ichor, Stir the Depths, Ravenous Feast, twice, then Submerge.

Next three

  • Caustic Deluge — Swap tanks when stacks build; the raid keeps away from the Deluge target.
  • Caustic Globule — One low-stack player touches each globule and takes the single venom stack.
  • Stone Breaker — A tank runs back in and stands in the swirls; the two tanks alternate sets.

Where the guide disagrees

Nothing found: the Heroic guide agrees with itself, and no later hotfix changes what it says about Twin Fangs.

What happens when? · Phase 1

Eternal Venom: Avoid every stack you can; only Ravenous Feast removes them, one per player per Feast.

When do tanks swap?

Swap on Caustic Deluge stacks by trading serpents; tanks also take alternate Stone Breaker sets.

  • Vexhul’s tank swaps on Caustic Deluge stacks; the 90-second debuff means trading serpents.
  • Alternate Stone Breaker sets, running back in after the roar to take the slams.
  • Keep each serpent in range so Concentrated Spittle and Clotted Bolt never fire.

Where do I stand?

  1. Spread loosely around the two serpents; neither can be moved.
  2. Stay away from Vexhul’s tank while Caustic Deluge splashes land.
  3. Drop Coiling Ichor circles along the edge of the room.
  4. Submerge: Vexhul surfaces in the middle; cross her beam against the orbs’ spin.
  5. Melee running ahead to Ithraz dodge the beam once it catches up.

Setup on Heroic: 2 tanks · 4 healers · 14 DPS; steady two-target damage helps. From Method’s guide, 2026-08-14.

What does each role do?

Tanks
  • Vexhul’s tank swaps on Caustic Deluge stacks; the 90-second debuff means trading serpents.
  • Alternate Stone Breaker sets, running back in after the roar to take the slams.
  • Keep each serpent in range so Concentrated Spittle and Clotted Bolt never fire.
Healers
  • Toxic Fumes hits the raid with Nature damage every 2 seconds, all fight.
  • Venomous Emergence and Stir the Depths both damage the whole raid.
  • Feast strikes split heavy Physical damage across each soak group.
  • Average venom stacks climb each cycle; that creep is the soft enrage.
Damage dealers
  • Hero on pull; specs with steady two-target damage are a strong pick.
  • Keep both serpents even on health so neither gets Uncoiled Wrath.
  • Kill the Spawn of Vexhul fast after each Venomous Emergence.
  • Both serpents must die before the third Submerge.

On Mythic

  • Dying is costly: the dead player leaves three Caustic Globules behind, and those tend to snowball into a wipe.
  • Barbed Bulwark now shields each globule; any crowd-control effect breaks it, so pick talents with some.
  • Ten globules a set: half the raid takes one set, the other half the next — about 6 stacks each by the enrage.
  • Kick every Visceral Burst from the Broodlings — it is the main wipe mechanic.
  • Feast soaks rotate right group, left group, melee; bring Vexhul to 40% with Ithraz cleaved alongside, then swap.

If it goes wrong?

Eternal Venom
At 10 stacks the player dies.
Caustic Globule
An untouched globule gives the whole raid an Eternal Venom stack.
Stone Breaker
A slam that hits nobody deals armor-ignoring raid damage plus a knockback.
Ravenous Feast
Feasted adds 800% Feast damage for 8 seconds, so a second soak is lethal.
Uncoiled Wrath
A short gap between kills is survivable; a long one is not.
Vile Flood
Standing in it stacks venom fast enough to kill.
Caustic Rain
The pull ends quickly.

Your job: Avoid every stack you can; only Ravenous Feast removes them, one per player per Feast.

  2. Caustic DelugePhase 1TankVexhul channels on her tank for 5 seconds; Envenomed adds 10% Deluge damage per stack for 90 seconds.

Your job: Not your job — the tanks handle it.

  3. Caustic GlobulePhase 1SoakDeluge splashes leave globules that rupture after 10 seconds.

Your job: One low-stack player touches each globule and takes the single venom stack.

  4. Stone BreakerPhase 1SoakIthraz roars everyone back, then 3 slams each add 33% Stone Breaker damage taken for 90 seconds.

Your job: Not your job — the tanks handle it.

  5. Venomous EmergencePhase 1AddsUnavoidable raid hit and venom stack for all, plus 3 Spawn of Vexhul in the middle.

Your job: Not your job — melee and ranged handle it.

  6. Corrosive SpitPhase 1DodgeEach Spawn of Vexhul fixates a player and spits a frontal line that applies venom.

Your job: Targets hold still or angle the line away from the raid; everyone else steps out.

  7. Coiling IchorPhase 1MoveShrinking circles on several players that leave a 2-minute Congealed Gore pool slowing by 50%.

Your job: Walk to the edge of the room and drop it there without clipping anyone.

  8. Stir the DepthsPhase 1DodgeSix seconds of raid-wide pulses while green waves roll across the platform.

Your job: The pulse carries no venom; weave between the waves, which do.

  9. Ravenous FeastPhase 1SoakThree fast strikes split heavy Physical damage within 14 yards; each player hit loses 1 venom stack.

Your job: Three groups of 7+, one per strike, or two groups plus immunities on the third.

  10. Uncoiled WrathPhase 1CooldownWhen one serpent dies, the other gains 25% damage every 4 seconds, with no stack limit.

Your job: Not your job — melee and ranged handle it.

  11. SubmergeIntermission (Submerge)DodgeDiving serpents rain venom that leaves Noxious Slick pools adding 30% damage taken.

Your job: Stay out of the slicks; the floor gets worse after every Submerge.

  12. Vile FloodIntermission (Submerge)MoveVexhul channels a 14-second toxin beam that turns with the spinning orbs around her.

Your job: Move against the rotation and cross the beam early; behind it is safe.

  13. Sanguine StormIntermission (Submerge)DodgeIthraz rains gore for 18 seconds; impacts hit within 4 yards and leave short slow pools.

Your job: Dodge the red circles while you rotate around the beam.

  14. Caustic RainIntermission (Submerge)CooldownHard enrage: on the third Submerge both serpents move to the middle and cast it.

Your job: Not your job — melee and ranged handle it.
